Real Estate Calgary was formed in June, 2001.

The owners, Dave Galbraith and Ben Olson, have both been in the industry for over 18 years and have over 40 years of combined real estate experience.

Many other real estate company head offices are in the United States, and a lot of their company spending / suppliers are also from the US. Although we love our US neighbours Real Estate Calgary is based in Calgary.

Our philosophy is, when possible, all advertising, suppliers and company spending is done in Canada.  This also allows us to pass these savings onto our sellers.   

Both Ben and Dave were born and raised in Calgary and have strong family ties to the community. They are members of the Alberta Real Estate Association and the Calgary Real Estate Board, and have achieved the top sales award being members of the MLS Million dollar Club.  

They also ran a successful renovations company for two years which gives them access to trades when necessary, and a strong knowledge of construction.

Ben has a B.A. in economics and Dave has a background in economics, banking and other sales and management experience. This gives both of them a very strong knowledge of the market.
